Excel LABS
Hands-on science for future innovators
Welcome to our fully equipped, professional science laboratory — the physical home of Excel LABS is in Parkmore, Sandton, Johannesburg. We bridge the gap between theory and reality, equipping students from age 10 to A-Level with the tools, safety protocols, and expertise to master the sciences.
The Discovery Phase (Ages 10–15)
- Junior Scientists (Ages 10–12): We ignite curiosity through a vibrant mix of Life, Physical, and Earth & Space sciences. It’s about more than just memorising facts—it’s about learning to ask “Why?” through exciting, guided experiments.
- The Foundation (Ages 12–15): Learners tackle more complex challenges to deepen their scientific understanding. This phase builds the essential practical skills required for the rigours of Grades 10–12, International GCSE, or A-Level studies.
The Specialist Phase (International GCSE & AS Level)
Our secondary laboratory programme introduces students to professional lab etiquette, high-level safety, and advanced equipment usage.
- Individual Lab Stations: Every student has their own dedicated, fully equipped station.
- Specialised Streams: Dedicated practical courses for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Curriculum-Plus: While strictly aligned with Cambridge International standards, these practical skills provide a competitive edge for students across all curricula.
