Bouwe van der Eems and his wife Debbie have been homeschooling their five children since 2000. Bouwe is actively involved in the Association for Homeschooling and the Pestalozzi Trust and has taken part in various meeting with Department officials since 2004. With his family he has been running the SAHomeschoolers website since 2010.

State takes full control over education
